Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, we have a winner.

Congratulations to Jen. There were quite a few more errors than 42 but no one guessed higher than her so she is now officially the winner and no more guesses will be accepted. There were approximately 66 corrections. As far as what Jen has won it has still yet to be determined. Any (inexpensive) suggestions?

Most of the errors were trivial a lot of commas and such. So things are still on track with getting done soon. My professor wants to look over it one more time then will hand copies to my committee members and will go from there.

Hey! 66 is still pretty good esp. since most of the corrections are commas and such. the minor nature of the errors is indicated in the fact that your advisor thinks only one more look over is neccessary before giving it to the committee... yipeee!

considering your professsor thinks you only need one more 'corrective cycle' to get it done, i'd say your set.
now .. to fill up the 30 minutes with something entertaining.
maybe you should discuss your research with metaphors, and hand out a 'key/legend' at the very end, just to keep it inturesting, right before the question and answer period.
then conclude that if they had red their keys, that their questions would be answered and they really don't need you.
